2K Games has appointed Ben Brinkman from Respawn Entertainment to direct the studio crew at 31st Union, which is currently crafting the forthcoming third-person action-packed title known as this innovative game.

On Wednesday, the company's top executive a key figure informed employees about this strategic move through an internal memo, which emphasized that playtesting had revealed the necessity for a clearer game identity.

The president noted that the team is now reimagining the project with a renewed vision, aiming to better meet community desires.

This announcement echoes a similar step taken by the publisher in the summer, when they brought on Rod Fergusson from Blizzard to contribute to the beloved franchise development group.

Ben’s guidance and background in the PVP shooter field is considerable, having devoted the recent years creating and leading some of the most well-known titles in gaming, including Call of Duty: Black Ops, and more recently, the battle royale hit.
