The assault resulted in the partial closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later released.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of individuals hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - which police said was isolated and not considered terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
